USA Volleyball is excited for year two of the Accelerator Program for the Beach NTDP. The mission of the National Team Development Program (NTDP) is to identify, recruit and accelerate the development of high-potential junior volleyball players for the ultimate purpose of strengthening our national team programs to achieve sustained competitive excellence.
The National Team Development Program Accelerators provide clubs and regional high-performance programs opportunities to nominate promising players to receive an invitation to regionalized best vs. best training sessions. These sessions will be organized by USA Volleyball and run in a manner similar to competitive sessions within the NTDP Training Series. The accelerator sessions will be organized in 120-minute sessions for each age division. Age divisions include Girls U19, U17, U15, and Boys U19 and 17.
The role you play in athlete development is vital for the National Team Development Program and the future of USA Volleyball. Because of that, we ask that you please take the time to nominate your high-performing athletes to be a part of one or more of the upcoming Accelerator Programs. Accelerators give opportunities for high-performing athletes to play with and be challenged against the best athletes in a more localized setting. Selected athletes will have the opportunity to be coached by our Beach National Team Development Program Coaches.
