Retirement and Big Thank You's

USAV would like to send a big thank you to Mark Noble (Sun Country) and John Cline (Bayou) for their combined years of service to growing the game and volleyball community!  In addition, we would like to welcome Natasha Campbell (Sun Country) and Angelle Sims (Bayou) to USAV and our region leadership!

Attached are the following three member/membership statistic reports for the 23-24 season (Month of September).  These reports compare numbers for members/memberships purchased through the entire season thus far.

  • FULL Members By Region Age Gender – This report is a total of members who have purchased FULL memberships.  If a member has more than one full membership in a region they are counted once.
  • Total Members By Region Age Gender – This report is a total of members who have purchased any type of membership (full or limited and includes those who purchased tryout memberships but did not upgrade to another membership).  If a member has more than one membership in a region they are counted only once.
  • FULL and LIMITED Memberships by Region Age Gender – This report is a total of all memberships (full and limited).  Each membership will be counted in the totals for a person who has purchased more than one membership.  Note that this number will be higher than our total member count because any member who purchases more than one membership is counted multiple times.

As mentioned at the RVAA meetings, here is the escalation process and methods to get ahold of a customer service team member when you need them. 

Registration products are extra products that SportsEngine offers to specific registrations as extra benefits to your members. some of these products are NCSA, RegSaver, and MedSaver.  please reach out to SportsEngine helpdesk if you would like to talk to someone to remove those products.

*Regions are emailed when a member in their Region receives an alert. Reach out to [email protected] if you’d like to change the email that receives alerts.

*There was a typo in the September Update to the 2024 Girls Region Bid Allocation, please see the following dates for the corrected dates.

If you already have your region qualifier dates, please send to [email protected] so we can add them to our calendar.

All regional qualifier dates should be sent to the Events Dept by January 12th.

The last possible weekend to hold 18s Regional Qualifiers is: March 23-24

The last possible weekend to hold 11-13s Regional Qualifiers is: May 4-5

The last possible weekend to hold 14-17s Regional Qualifiers is: May 11-12

 

All bids should be emailed to USAV no later than 12pm MST Tuesday following your regions’ bid event.

USA Volleyball Beach Events department would like to share some exciting news with all of you regarding our beach event software. USAV is in the process of transitioning from BracketPal to Volleyball Life (https://volleyballlife.com/).  

Please find additional information attached on the software and key features. We are excited about this opportunity to bring additional enhancements to our members at beach events.

The RISE acceptance letters went out to the 2023-2024 season invited candidates.  More information will be arriving in the next couple weeks regarding registration and sign up.  RISE training camps being in January.

This program will launch in 2024. The region Officials Chairs have received a survey and will provide feedback for the program. The final program document will be sent out to all regions within the coming month.

The USA Volleyball Officials Academy will be launching soon with online clinics and podcast with some of the mostly high respected individuals in the officiating country world.  Folks will hear from some of the most innovative minds in our cadre.

Registration is open for 2024. REGISTRATION FOR ALL NATIONALLY OWNED EVENTS IS OPEN NOW IN AES – WE NEED YOU – Your participation is critical to the success of these events. Only Junior National and National Referees will be accepted to 18s GJNC, and only National Referees and National Scorers will be accepted to Opens depending on registration volume. Most Junior National and National referees will be accepted, within a few weeks, for all Qualifiers and GJNCs in Dallas and Las Vegas.

  • Acceptances for GJNC will happen within two weeks of registration for Junior National and National Referees.
  • Acceptances for the Open National Championships will be February 1.
  • Acceptances for GJNC 18s will be February 19.
  • Acceptances for BJNC will be March 1.

Please update your profiles in AES—particularly your sizing and current certification.
